CASSETTI FLORENCE

The gold and silver engraving have origin in Florence and refer to the school of Benvenuto Cellini who was the very first among the great master engravers. At the beginning of the twentieth century this important tradition, which has been h
anded down for centuries near Ponte Vecchio, has been inherited by Renzo Cassetti, master engraver himself: he embraced it, improved it and developed it under a single firm. Bulgari is one of the important signatures he started working for when still very young.

Soon the purely handcrafted reality of Renzo’s small store became a world wide well-known brand especially thanks to the prestigious boutiques on Ponte Vecchio and the elegant store in Forte dei Marmi. In the period between 1950 and 1960, Renzo created and signed a special collection of particular jewelry clearly inspired to the “neo-classico” Bulgari’s vision. This became his private collection: a considerable number of pieces in a warmly handcrafted yellow gold; some of them are preciously enriched with diamonds and coloured stones.

These enchanting bricks of history and culture now come to light and are ready to be worn by who appreciates the sensational concoction created by the touch of class coming from the past and the eccentricity of the lines with an eye turned to the future.
